Each season offers unique experiences across the U.S., so choosing the right time to visit depends on the type of adventure you want to have! In the north, cities like New York and Boston are best enjoyed in the fall (September to November) when the foliage is stunning, and the weather is cool. The Midwest, including Chicago and the Great Lakes region, is ideal to visit in the summer (June to August) due to pleasant temperatures and numerous outdoor activities. In the south, states like Florida and Georgia are perfect in spring (March to May) for warm but bearable weather, making it great for beaches and exploring cities. The southwest, featuring Arizona and Nevada, offers the best experience in the spring and fall when temperatures are moderate. The west, including California and Washington, is best visited in the fall (September to November) with mild and sunny weather conducive to outdoor adventures.

The United States of America is so vast, that even by spending the full 90 days that your ESTA allows you to stay in the country for at one time, you’ll still need to make another trip or 2, or 3… to see the entire country! 10 days is the perfect amount of time for a typical USA holiday itinerary; whether you want to relax on an island, bounce from city to city along the coast, or combine the 2. At a relaxed pace, to explore the United States for longer, 3-5 weeks gives you the opportunity to stay in each location for a couple of nights or so.
