Grenada
The Island of Spice
Just 134.6 square miles in size, Grenada is the southern most of the Eastern Caribbean islands, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Caribbean Sea to the west.
Grenada is a truly tropical paradise. There’s a lot more to this Caribbean Island than just white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters – at the depths of which you’ll find the World’s First Underwater Sculpture Park! Across the island, you'll also find alluring scenery, in the form of peaceful waterfalls and dense rainforests. Grenada's capital is a picturesque city with colourful shops and homes dotting the hillside of an old volcano crater. A trip to Grenada is perfect for couples, older families, friends’ trips and those looking for an adventurous holiday with a touch of luxury.
Grenada is known as the Spice Isle because of its production of nutmeg, mace, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. It’s also the chocolate capital of the Caribbean!
Like many of the Caribbean islands, Grenada celebrates a colourful and exuberant carnival. Known as Spicemas, the carnival is a premier cultural event in Grenada, which takes place on the second Monday and Tuesday every August.
